What we manufacture?

  • Engagement rings. Solitaires, three-stone settings, halos, hidden halos and bezel settings in natural or lab-grown diamonds. We build the setting to your CAD or ours, and we can set client-supplied center stones.

  • Wedding bands and eternity rings. Plain bands, comfort-fit bands, milgrain and hammered finishes, channel-set and shared-prong eternity and half-eternity styles.

  • Stacking and minimalist rings. Thin bands, textured bands and simple gold rings the volume category for most US direct-to-consumer brands. These run efficiently at quantity and carry the best margin for a growing label.

  • Gemstone and cocktail rings. Sapphire, ruby, emerald, moonstone, amethyst, turquoise and other stones in silver or gold, including larger statement settings.

  • Signet, crest and thumb rings. Engraved, cast or hand-carved faces.

  • Replicas and redesigns. Reproducing a discontinued style, rebuilding a heirloom design in a new metal, or scaling a one-off piece a designer made by hand into a repeatable production model.

Metals, and what the labels legally mean in the US

The terminology matters more than most new brands realize, because in the United States the Federal Trade Commission's Jewelry Guides govern how these materials can be described to consumers. If you sell a ring as "gold vermeil" and it does not meet the definition, you carry that exposure not your factory. We build to the spec you ask for, and we will tell you if the spec you have asked for does not match the name you plan to sell it under.

  • Solid gold (9K–22K). Karat marking in the US is regulated under the National Gold and Silver Stamping Act, which requires a quality stamp to appear alongside a registered maker's trademark. We stamp to your registered mark when you supply one.

  • 925 sterling silver. 92.5% silver, balance typically copper. Can be supplied raw, oxidized, e-coated for tarnish resistance, or rhodium plated.

  • Gold vermeil. A sterling silver base with a gold layer. The FTC has a specific fineness and thickness threshold for the term, and a thin flash plate over silver does not qualify that is gold-plated sterling, which is a different claim. We confirm micron thickness in writing on every vermeil order so your product copy is defensible.

  • Gold-filled. A mechanically bonded gold layer over a base metal core, substantially thicker and more durable than plating. Popular with US brands selling everyday jewelry at a mid-tier price.

  • Rhodium plating. Applied over white gold or silver for brightness and tarnish resistance. Worth specifying up front, since it changes both cost and the care instructions you will give customers.

For nickel, note that the EU has a formal nickel release limit and the US does not have an equivalent federal standard for jewelry. If you sell into both markets, tell us at the quote stage and we will specify alloys accordingly.

How a custom ring order works?

1. Brief. You send a sketch, a reference photo, a CAD file, or a physical sample. Include metal, karat, target stone size and quality, ring sizes, and quantity. If you have a landed cost target, say so now it shapes every decision that follows.

2. Quote. We price the piece and confirm what is feasible. Gold pricing is quoted against the metal rate on the day, plus labor, plus stones, so a gold quote has a validity window attached. Silver and plated work is more stable.

3. CAD. You approve a 3D render before anything is cut. Revisions at this stage are cheap. Revisions after casting are not.

4. Wax and casting. The approved CAD is printed in wax, invested and cast in your chosen alloy.

5. Stone setting. Hand setting for prong and bezel work, micro-setting for pavé and channel.

6. Finishing. Filing, polishing, plating, oxidizing, texturing, laser engraving, and stamping with your maker's mark.

7. QC and dispatch. Weight, size, stone security, finish and stamping are checked against the approved spec before packing.

Most custom rings complete in two to three weeks. Intricate multi-stone work, unusual alloys and large first runs take longer, and we will give you a date at quote rather than after you have committed.

Custom, OEM, private label and white label the difference

These four terms get used interchangeably across the industry, which causes real confusion at the quoting stage. Here is how we use them.

  • Full custom means you own the design. You bring the concept, we engineer and manufacture it, and the CAD belongs to you.

  • OEM means you supply the design and technical spec, and we manufacture to it as your production partner. Common for brands that have in-house design but no factory.

  • Private label means you select from designs we can produce and we finish them under your brand your stamp, your packaging, your product.

  • White label means you take an existing collection and sell it as your own with minimal modification. It is the fastest route to market and the lowest setup cost, and it is the right starting point for a new brand testing which styles sell before committing to tooling.

Most US clients start white label or private label, learn what moves, then move their winners into full custom once the volume justifies it.

Ordering quantities and pricing

We produce bulk runs, dozen quantities and individual made-to-order pieces. Minimums depend on the piece: a plain silver band carries a much lower practical minimum than an 18K pavé setting, because the cost sits in tooling and setup rather than material. Ask for the minimum on your specific design rather than a blanket figure, because a blanket figure would either overstate what a simple band requires or understate what a complex setting does.

On pricing, there is no fixed sticker on a custom ring. Gold pieces are priced on finished metal weight at the prevailing rate, plus stones, plus labor for the setting complexity. This is why two rings that look similar can quote very differently a 2mm band and a 6mm band in the same karat are not remotely the same amount of gold. Send the design and the target quantity and you get a real number, not a range.

Importing to the United States

If you buy from an overseas manufacturer, you are the importer of record. This is the part most first-time sourcing buyers underestimate, so here is the honest version.

  • Duty. Jewelry imports fall under Chapter 71 of the US tariff schedule, with the rate depending on the metal and construction. Rates change, and they have changed more than usual recently, so confirm the current rate for your specific classification with a customs broker before you build your margin model.

  • Customs value. Duty is assessed on the declared value of the goods. Undervaluing an invoice to reduce duty is fraud, and it is your liability as importer. We invoice at actual transaction value.

  • Marking. Imported goods generally require country-of-origin marking. For jewelry this interacts with how your quality stamp and maker's mark are applied, which is worth settling before the first production run rather than after a shipment is held.

  • Shipping. Insured courier for smaller consignments, freight for volume. Transit to the US typically runs a few business days by air courier, with customs clearance on top.

We will supply the commercial invoice, packing list and HTS classification your broker needs. We are not customs advisors and will not pretend to be engage a licensed broker for your first import and the process becomes routine afterward.

Working with a manufacturer in India

Jaipur has been a gemstone and jewelry manufacturing center for centuries, and the depth of hand-setting and stone-cutting skill here is the actual reason to source from it. The trade-offs are real too, and you should weigh them.

  • What you gain: significantly lower labor cost on hand-intensive work, access to stone sourcing at origin, and the ability to run small first batches without the tooling minimums a mass-production factory would impose.

  • What you trade: a 9.5 to 10.5 hour time difference from the US, shipping transit and customs on every order, and a sampling round that takes longer than it would with a domestic shop. If you need a ring in a customer's hands in five days, a US bench jeweler is the right call and we will tell you so.

Our clients typically handle the time difference by running day-to-day communication over WhatsApp rather than email, which collapses a two-day email cycle into same-day answers.

Who we are a good fit for?

  • Growing US jewelry brands moving from drop-shipping to their own manufactured line

  • Established retailers who want private label product at better margin than wholesale buying

  • Independent designers who need production capacity for a collection they designed

  • E-commerce sellers testing new styles in small batches before scaling

  • Businesses that want one manufacturer across gold, silver and plated ranges

Who we are not a good fit for?

  • One-off consumer purchases. We manufacture for businesses; if you want a single engagement ring for yourself, a local jeweler will serve you better.

  • Emergency turnarounds. Two to three weeks plus shipping is the floor.

  • Platinum-only programs. Gold and silver are our depth.

  • Buyers who need a domestic supplier for compliance or Made-in-USA marketing reasons.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum order for custom rings?

It depends on the design. Simple silver bands carry a low minimum; complex gold settings with pavé work carry a higher one because the setup cost is greater. Send the design and we will give you the specific minimum for that piece.

How long does a custom ring take?

Typically two to three weeks from CAD approval, plus shipping and customs. Intricate or multi-stone designs take longer, and you will have the date before you commit.

Can I supply my own design?

Yes. Sketches, reference photos, CAD files and physical samples all work. If you supply the CAD, the design remains yours.

Do you offer white label and private label?

Yes. We produce under your brand with your stamp and packaging, either from your designs or from collections we can produce.

What karats do you work in?

9K, 10K, 14K, 18K and 22K. 14K is the most common request from US brands.

Do you use lab-grown diamonds?

Yes, and natural. We can also set stones you supply.

Will you stamp my maker's mark?

Yes. Supply your registered trademark and we stamp it alongside the karat mark.

Can you match an existing ring?

In most cases. Send photos with dimensions, or the physical piece, and we will confirm before quoting.

Who pays import duty?

You do, as importer of record. We supply the documentation your customs broker needs.

Do you ship to the United States?

Yes, direct from our facility, by insured courier or freight depending on order size.
