6. Quality control

Every piece is checked against the approved spec sheet before packing. Weight, dimensions, stone security, plating coverage, stamp legibility and closure function. Anything outside tolerance is remade, not shipped.

How pricing works?

We quote in three separate lines rather than one number:

• Metal cost at the market rate on the day of quotation, by weight and karat

• Making charge per piece, based on complexity, and it falls as quantity rises

• Stone cost per stone, by size and grade

Most overseas quotes arrive as a single figure, which is convenient right up until gold moves 6% and you cannot tell whether your supplier's margin moved with it. Quoting in three lines means you can reprice accurately, forecast honestly, and compare our quote against another factory's on equal terms.

What is a charm holder? 

A charm holder is an openable connector that hangs on a chain and lets the wearer add or remove charms without a jeweler soldering anything. It usually opens on a hinge with a click or lock closure. Depending on the market it is also sold as a charm enhancer, a charm lock or a charm connector.

What is the difference between a charm holder, a charm enhancer and a charm lock?

Mechanically they are the same idea, and the naming reflects how the piece is styled and sold. A charm holder is the plain functional component. A charm enhancer is decorative enough to wear as the focal point on its own. A charm lock is a lock-shaped version of the same mechanism. US buyers search "charm holder" most often; "enhancer" is more common in the UK and among pearl retailers.

What is your minimum order quantity? 

1 pieces per design in sterling silver and 1 pieces per design in solid gold. MOQ is per design, not per order, so you can build a five-piece collection without committing to volume on every SKU.

Do you manufacture in solid 14k gold? 

Yes. We work in solid 9k, 10k, 14k, 18k and 22k in yellow, white and rose. 14k is by far the most common request from US clients. Alloy composition is recorded per order and a reference sample is retained for reorders.

Can you produce charms under our own brand? 

Yes. We work as an OEM, ODM and private label manufacturer. Your registered trademark is applied to the piece alongside the karat stamp, and we can supply with your hangtags, boxes and barcodes so pieces arrive retail-ready.

What is the difference between OEM and ODM? 

Under OEM you supply the design and we manufacture to your specification. Under ODM our design team creates the collection and you sell it under your brand. Many clients use both OEM for signature pieces, ODM to round out a range.

How long does sampling take? 

Ten working days from approved CAD to a finished sample. CAD itself takes two to three days, with three rounds of revisions included.

Do you supply gold vermeil, gold filled and plated pieces? 

Yes. Vermeil at a minimum of 2.5 microns of 14k gold over sterling silver, gold filled at 1/20 14k, and gold plated brass at 1 to 3 microns. We build to the FTC definitions of those terms so your product descriptions are accurate as written.

How long does shipping to the United States take? 

Five to seven working days, fully insured and tracked, shipped DDP or DAP with complete export documentation.

Will the pieces be stamped correctly for sale in the US? 

Yes. We apply the karat quality mark together with your registered trademark, as US stamping rules require. If you do not yet hold a registered trademark, tell us early it affects how your first production run can be marked.
